Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Click the blue “Info” button in the connection settings to view the exact command SqlBak uses to connect to the database. Manually run this command via the command line to diagnose the issue.

  2. Try connecting to the database using another tool, such as:

    • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

    • MySQL Workbench

    • pgAdmin

    • or another appropriate database client

  3. Ensure that the user account you are using has sufficient permissions to access the database.
