System Requirements

Windows

Administrator privileges are required during installation because SqlBak is installed as a Windows service.

After installation, SqlBak runs as a service under the Local System account.

Linux

Sudo privileges are required during installation because SqlBak is installed through the package manager.

During installation, the sqlbak user is created. The application runs under this user after installation.
